About TariTalk
TariTalk[XYZ] is an independently run community site covering Tari’s development and community. Through writing and discussion, we explore the possibilities Tari opens up.
We organize information and share practical experience in Chinese and English, alongside our own observations and reflections.
From the Chinese Blog to This Site
The TariTalk Chinese blog launched on July 1, 2025. It began with an ordinary conversation in the community and a wish to gradually build a lasting collection of resources, tutorials, and knowledge shared along the way.
Inspired by Monero Moon, we wanted a blog that did more than relay news: a place for independent perspectives on privacy, freedom, and open technology from the Chinese-speaking community.
The new site carries that purpose forward. We are gradually organizing and migrating older articles while documenting new developments and ideas in Chinese and English. The format is changing, but our commitment to thoughtful documentation, independent thinking, and sharing with one another remains the same.
What We Cover
We follow Tari’s development from its underlying technology to practical use, including progress on networks and applications, wallet and mining tools, ecosystem development, and discussions about community and governance.
You’ll find project updates, practical tutorials, and explainers, alongside community reports, commentary, and personal essays. We aim to:
- Bring together scattered public information about the ecosystem in Chinese, making it easier to understand;
- Publish English versions so these community discussions can also reach English-speaking readers;
- Keep practical knowledge and original sources accessible for readers to consult, understand, and discuss.
We care about privacy and freedom, as well as reliable technology and useful tools. Supporting Tari does not mean we stop asking questions. Reporting on progress does not mean treating hopes as facts.
Independence and Editorial Approach
TariTalk is independently run by members of the Tari community. It is not an official Tari website. Content on this site reflects its authors’ observations and understanding, not the positions of Tari, Tari Labs, the Tari Council, or other community members.
All content is for learning and discussion, not investment advice. We aim to provide public sources for factual claims. If you find an error, please let us know so we can check and correct it.
Older articles brought over from the original blog retain their publication dates and reflect the authors’ views at the time. When following a tutorial, please also consult the latest official documentation.
Reading in Two Languages
English is the default language and lives at /; the complete Chinese edition lives at /zh/. Each language has its own article listings, categories, tags, archives, search, and RSS feed.
When an article has a translation, you can switch directly between languages. When it does not, the language switch takes you to the article listing in the other language.
How the Site Is Built
This site is built with Astro and generated as static pages. It has no account system, comment backend, or database, and it does not use behavioral tracking scripts.
We want to keep the site lightweight and make reading and finding content as straightforward as possible.
